# 8.4.1. Compass

To calibrate the compass, follow these steps:

**Step 1**. To calibrate the compass, access the screen by navigating to "**Compass Calibration**" in the settings menu. The following screen will be displayed on the user’s device.

**Step 2**. Click on the "**Calibrate Compass**" button and follow the on-screen instructions as demonstrated on the displayed screen on the user’s device.

**Step 3**. Click on the "**Start**" button to initiate the compass calibration process, and the following screen will be displayed.

Follow the on-screen instructions that appear to complete the compass calibration process.

Upon successful completion of the compass calibration, a message will be displayed, and the progress value will indicate **100%**. Following this, the device will automatically **reboot.**
